Pennyrile District Health Reports 66 Active COVID Cases

The Pennyrile District Health Department is reporting 66 total active coronavirus cases, including six hospitalizations, around its five-county district.
The Pennyrile District’s COVID-19 case summary released Thursday shows four of those cases are recovering at home in Caldwell County and one coronavirus case is hospitalized. To date, 1,285 total cases have been confirmed in the county, 1,248 have recovered, and 32 deaths have been linked to the virus since the pandemic began in March of last year.
Livingston County has reported the largest increase of coronavirus cases this week with a total of thirty active cases as of Thursday including one hospitalization.
Lyon County is reporting a total of four active COVID cases including one hospitalization, Crittenden County has sixteen active cases with one of those hospitalized, and Trigg County is reporting eleven active cases of the virus including two hospitalizations.
