DESCRIPTION:Hopkinsville Community College will host a showing of the original 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie for the college’s 2024 Spring Fest activity on Friday\, April 19. The free event will take place outside on the campus lawn near the college’s Rotary Learning Resource Center/Library. In case of rain\, the showing will be moved indoors to the Auditorium Building\, Riley Lecture Hall. Participants are asked to arrive by 7 p.m. to begin the movie at 7:30 p.m. The college will provide complimentary popcorn and other snacks. You can pick up a “Nature Discovery Activity Book” at the Nature Station front desk and use it to guide you through a variety of exploration activities that will help you learn about nature through all sorts of subjects! Additionally\, take advantage of special programs specifically geared for homeschoolers scheduled several times a week throughout the month. If you complete your activity book at Nature Station during April\, you can earn your official Nature Discovery patch and certificate! And finally\, make sure to join us for the 10th annual Homeschool Day at Nature Station on Friday\, April 26. This year’s theme is Earth Sciences!

DESCRIPTION:Christ Tabernacle Food Pantry has announced new procedures and location for area families in need. The NEW Christ Tab Food Pantry is now located at 607 Washington Street\, behind Butler\, near downtown Princeton. Since mass distribution has ended\, families may now visit the pantry twice per month\, with senior boxes available during your visit.  The pantry is open weekly\, Monday and Wednesday from 9am-3pm. Appointments may be made by calling 270-963-5981.
