Gilbertsville Woman Arrested For Shoplifting Following Incident Sunday

A Gilbertsville woman has been arrested on various charges, including shoplifting, following an incident Sunday night.
According to a Caldwell County Sheriff’s report a deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at WalMart on Highway 62 West in Princeton just before 10:30. The report states that the deputy was alerted by Loss Prevention at WalMart that 48-year-old Lori Blades had left the store without paying for several items.
Blades was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500, disorderly conduct second degree, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, criminal littering and possession of a controlled substance third degree. She was also served an active warrant from Marshall County.
Blades was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
