Princeton Tourism Grant for Summer Slam Helps Event Reach National Audience

A grant from the Princeton Tourism Commission to help aid in marketing for the 10th Annual Summer Slam is proving effective.
Commission Chairman David Brown says that the Commission originally wanted to support HR Ministries and Summer Slam because it promised to bring people into the area.

He added that the $6,500 grant aided the advertising and marketing of the event.

Brown notes that with the addition of a wider internet presence the event has now become nationally recognized.

He is encouraging local residents to lend their support to the event as well.

The 10th Annual Summer Slam, featuring well-known Christian artists Tauren Wells, Colton Dixon, and The Color, and all day long activities including a 5K run and walk, car show, and human foosball tournament, will be held Saturday, July 27th on the Butler Lawn in downtown Princeton. Activities begin at 8AM with music to begin around 4:45PM. The event is free and open to all in the public.
