Burton To Serve On Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland Board

Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland announced Tuesday that a Caldwell County resident will serve on its board of directors.
Princeton Electric Plant Board Superintendent Chris Burton will serve on the board for the next six years, helping to advance its vision of providing equitable access to nutritious food so that no one in the region will go hungry.
Burton grew up in nearby Dixon and is a 1998 graduate of Webster County High School. He began his career as an electrical contractor in 1999 and later attended Bismarck State University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management. Burton has worked for the Princeton Electric Plant Board for 18 years.
He serves on the Industrial Development Authority representing the city of Princeton Planning and Zoning Commission and is a member of the Princeton Rotary Club. Burton’s commitment to community extends to his work as a Kentucky Colonel, as the coordinator for Kentucky State Mutual Aid, and through his volunteer efforts with Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Owensboro in the aftermath of the December 2021 tornado.
