Lee Anne Gilkey has organized a pork chop fundraiser set for Thursday to support help recovery efforts for those affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in late September.
Gilkey from The King’s Kitchen of Caldwell County shared that she felt compelled to assist the people in North Carolina and Tennessee, leading her to organize a pork chop fundraiser.

click to download audioFundraising is nothing new to Gilkey. For the past 11 years, she has been actively involved in fundraising to support The King’s Kitchen to feed over 200 children through the Summer Feeding Program in Caldwell County, as well as assisting other organizations.
