KET’s Chip Polston Shares Princeton Stories and Kentucky Adventures

With a projector, screen and laptop in tow, the host and producer from KET’s Kentucky Life visited Princeton last week—not to film this time, but to share stories about his filming adventures across Kentucky.

Chip Polston spoke at the Princeton Rotary Club’s meeting on Tuesday, sharing highlights from his early life, his years at Western Kentucky University, and his long career with the Kentucky Lottery Corporation before joining KET two and a half years ago.

During that time, Polston said he had visited Princeton several times, including filming a full episode at the historic Adsmore Museum, which he praised as one of Kentucky’s amazing resources. He shared a lighthearted memory about struggling to film the front of the building because they couldn’t get traffic to stop.
