Local law enforcement is investigating the theft of two ATVs that occurred in southern Lyon County last week.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reported that a deputy responded to a burglary in progress on Birdie Bannister Road around 5:30 Friday morning. According to Sheriff White, at least three individuals were involved in taking two ATVs from the property and riding them away, heading north on Kentucky 274.
Sheriff White stated that the ATVs were located and recovered around 2:30 Sunday afternoon by a Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputy from a farm field in rural Caldwell County, off Otter Pond Road.
