Mary Lou Cotton, age 80, of Princeton, passed away October 24, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Mary Lou was born September 19, 1945, to the late Roland “Bill” and Mildred Walker Ridd. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Eastern Star and the Homemakers Club. Mary Lou enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling and most important caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jamie Cotton of Caldwell County and Jeff (Debra) Cotton of Caldwell County; sister, Barbara (Gary) Sewell of Apple Valley, MN; her adored grandchildren, Ella Kay (Michael) Roeder, Ethan (Maggie) Cotton, Evan Cotton and Eli Cotton; step-grandchildren, Hunter (Rebekah) Hendon, Haley Hendon; step-great-grandchildren, Renley, Grady and Nellie Hendon, Nash Hale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roland Billy Ridd, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Sally Cotton
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 29, 202,5 at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
