The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce sponsored a focus on shopping local on Saturday with a Small Town Christmas celebration.
Various businesses across the county held special sale events welcoming shoppers into their stores. Those in downtown Princeton were able to visit with a special guest who spent some time in his local house. This year, Santa’s house is located at the intersection of South Jefferson and Main Street, for guests to stop by and visit and discuss some requests for Christmas. Santa Claus himself was standing outside his house, waving at vehicles as they passed by, and noted he was glad to have his house where everyone could find it and visit with him this year.
Two young girls stopped by and talked to Santa and had their pictures made with him. Karmela, age 8, and 5-year-old Anna shared what they wanted for Christmas.

Steffani Burton with the Princeton Rotary Club had a table set up beside Santa’s house to provide hot chocolate for anyone stopping by to visit.
Clint Joiner with Joiner Hardware shared that they were proud to have served the community with supplies for years and were there for anyone needing items during the holiday season.
Allison Herndon with Coleman Shoes, Repair and Bootery, noted they were a 4th-generation business in Princeton and were open with special sales and would be adding items to their inventory during the holiday season.
The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to shop local and support the businesses that support the local community.
