The Princeton Optimist Club is gearing up for the annual WPKY Optimist Club Radio Auction. This joint effort between the local radio station and civic club has been a mainstay in Princeton and Caldwell County for over 50 years. Through this effort, over hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to support local youth and youth projects in our community. The Princeton Optimist Club recently held a special meeting to focus on setting up arrangements and plans to reach out to the community to gather items to be used to raise those much-needed funds. Optimist President David Morris shared some of those plans.

Donations will be accepted from businesses, individuals, clubs, churches or basically any source available.
Cash donations in the amounts of 25, 50 or 100 dollars will go directly into the scholarship fund and specified cash donations can be made to the Wes York Memorial trade school scholarship fund. A cash donation of $500.00 or more will enter your name as a Platinum Partner into the general operating fund to support all youth projects.
The auction can be heard live on WPKY 103.3 or wpkyonline.com each night of the auction, June 1st through 5th. For more information, you can contact David Morris at 270-601-0185.
