Local DAR and SAR Plan America250 Events and Celebrations

Local organizations are planning a series of events, including tree dedications, memorial ceremonies, historical readings, and community celebrations, to mark the America250 anniversary and honor the nation’s history throughout Caldwell and surrounding counties.

At last week’s Caldwell Chamber Connect Community Meeting, Carolyn Traum of the General John Caldwell Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, was one of the speakers and shared that their organization is promoting America250, the sesquicentennial of our country.

She announced they will host a tree dedication at Dotson Park at noon on Friday, April 24.
