Create Princeton Builds Community Through Fine Arts

Laura Klubert brought the arts into focus at the recent Chamber Caldwell Connect event, sharing how Create Princeton is transforming Princeton with color, creativity, and collaboration.

Klubert shared Create Princeton’s mission as a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to fostering the fine arts within the community.

click to download audioKlubert explained that Create Princeton launched its first project in 2020, during the height of the COVID pandemic. She said the group teamed up with the Farmers Bank Ambassadors Program for the Butterfly Migration initiative.

Since then, she said, Create Princeton has broadened its reach by collaborating with local businesses, Adsmore House and Gardens, the Princeton Art Guild, area schools, and city and county partners to offer a variety of music and art programs that enrich the community through fine arts.

click to download audioShe added that the organization has two upcoming mural projects and provides support to elementary schools through a 21st Century grant.

click to download audioAccording to Klubert, Create Princeton is funded through grants, donations, and its major annual fundraiser, the Cookie Walk, held each December.
