Two Owensboro residents suffered minor injuries following a single-vehicle wreck in Lyon County late last week.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Deputies say 21-year-old Skyler Harris was driving south near the U.S. 62 interchange when wet conditions caused Harris to lose control of the SUV, run off the road, travel down an embankment, and hit a tree.
Authorities say Harris and a passenger in the vehicle, 23-year-old Makenna Hall, were transported by Lyon County EMS to Lourdes Mercy Health Hospital in Paducah for treatment.
Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including the Eddyville Police and Fire Departments and the Kentucky State Police.
