The Caldwell County High School FFA Chapter has elected two individuals to be honorary members in the local chapter.
At the recent FFA Banquet and Awards program, the chapter announced and installed two local educators, Tina Martin and Dustin Cash, as the newest honorary members through the FFA official installation ceremony.
The honorary membership is the highest recognition and honor a local FFA chapter can bestow on an individual, showing their respect and appreciation for the person receiving the award. The recipient of the honorary membership has traditionally shown strong support and contributions to the chapter in accomplishing their programs and goals.
As the candidates were introduced, some of the reasons for their selections were shared. Long-time teacher and administrator Tina Martin had a previous commitment and was not able to attend the program that night, but was recognized.
