Local parkgoers will find an array of new improvements and fresh amenities waiting at the City County Park, thanks to continued efforts to make the park a hub of activity for the entire community.
Park Executive Director Elizabeth King tells WPKY’s News Edge that the new ball fields are finally finished and ready for games and tournaments.

click to download audioIf you’re planning to use the park pavilion, King reminds everyone that the same rules as last year are still in place. She notes that parties can be scheduled in advance, and there’s a sign on the pavilion with a QR code you can scan to check the Google calendar for current reservations.

click to download audioVisitors will also see freshly stained tables at the pavilion and new benches at the playground, thanks to the Princeton Rotary Club and the Community Disciples. King says the park could still use three more picnic tables and is seeking donations or volunteers to help build them.
Finally, King remind everyones to leave the park better than you found it by picking up trash and keeping the facilities clean.
