
A Princeton man has been charged with assault after police say he cut his caretaker with a knife Thursday morning.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allision says officers were called to a residence near the 700 block of North Plum Street at 4:00 a.m., where they made contact with 70-year-old Malcolm Gray.
Police say an investigation revealed that Gray had cut his caretaker with a knife, causing minor injuries.
According to police, Gray was issued a citation for second-degree assault, a Class C felony, and was given a court date.
