Dawson Springs High School Celebrates Graduates (w/PHOTOS)

Twenty-six Dawson Springs High School seniors crossed the stage Friday night, stepping into the next chapter of their lives as the evening’s theme—perseverance and choices—echoed throughout the graduation ceremony.

Principal Elizabeth Robinson encouraged graduates to keep three key lessons in mind as they choose their next steps.

click to download audioSuperintendent Lenny Whalen noted that 17 of the 26 seniors had been together since kindergarten—spending 2,980 days in school together. He called graduation a celebration of a major milestone.

Following the presentation and confirmation of diplomas, graduates tossed their caps and popped the tops of confetti canons in celebration.
