Princeton Man Arrested on Various Charges Following Traffic Stop

A Princeton man has been arrested on various charges following a traffic stop Wednesday night.
According to a Princeton Police report officers stopped a vehicle on Hopkinsville Street for traffic violations just after 9:30. The report states that upon approaching the vehicle officers detected the odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and methamphetamine.
Officers then arrested the driver, 27-year-old Steven T. Sloyan and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense, methamphetamine, operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, and failure to illuminate head lamps.
Sloyan was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
