Officials with the Caldwell County School District say the current sports season is going as well as expected considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that sometimes leads to daily, and even hourly, changes.

Trigg County has now surpassed the other four counties served by the Pennyrile District Health Department concerning total COVID-19 cases.

The Pennyrile District Health Department is announcing four new coronavirus cases and released updated active case numbers throughout the five county district Friday.
