Funeral services for Walter Louis “Walt” Harper, age 61, of Eddyville, will be held Wednesday mornign at eleven at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Burial will follow at two in Herzog Cemetery on Old Mayfield Road in Paducah.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from four until eight at the funeral home.
Walt was Maintenance Supervisor at Venture River Water Park and attended Christ Tabernacle in Princeton.
Survivors include his mother: Lina Nelson Harper of Hendron, KY; father: Walter K. Harper of Cave City, KY; one daughter: Amanda (Keeling) Basham and husband, Ben, pf Benton; two sisters: Deanna Stegmann and husband, Mike, of Calvert City and Kelley Epling and husband, J.R., of West Virginia; one brother: Kelly Harper of Benton; two grandchildren and eight nieces. He also found a family at Venture River including Andrea, Troy, LeeAnn, Phyllis and the late Ben Jent.
