Princeton Optimist Club Vocational Scholarship

The Princeton Optimist Club established the Wes York Memorial Vocational Scholarship this year during the radio auction.
The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the memory of FFA Advisor Wes York and his love for vocational training and education. There were several donations to this fund during the Auction and for weeks afterward.
Plans are for this scholarship to be available to 2023 graduates that are furthering their education in a trade school or specific job training instead of attending a traditional college. Members of the Princeton Optimist Club met with Caldwell Regional Career Center Principal Randy McCarty and are beginning to form the guidelines that will be used to apply for and administer this Scholarship. Optimist Club member Roy Gene Rogers gave an update on the process.
