Princeton Starting ‘Hometown Heroes’ Banner Project


The City of Princeton and community partners are coming together to coordinate a Hometown Heroes banner project, similar to one that has taken place in Cadiz.
Mayor Brock Thomas told Your News Edge that Angela Ward Cotton is taking on the project.

click to download audioBoth are encouraging businesses to donate to this project. Cotton said that Bluegrass Excavating made the first donation.


click to download audioWhen the time comes to start producing the banners, Cotton said those will look nice in downtown Princeton.

Cotton said the goal is to have the banners on display by Patriot’s Day – Monday, September 11, and leave them up through at least Veteran’s Day on Saturday, November 11.
