Frank Egbert, 74 of Princeton

Frank F. Egbert of Princeton, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 74.
He was born on February 26, 1949, to Louard and Clara Jean Egbert (ne’e Blythe) in Caldwell County, Kentucky.  He attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee where he was a Charter member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  He had a lifelong interest in history, which he taught for 35 years for the Montgomery County, Tennessee school system.  He loved to read, sing, travel, and could digest an atlas or gazetteer like nobody’s business.
Frank is survived by his children, Erinne Jordan Egbert (Bryce) Hester, Sheely Ann Egbert (Andy) Hurst, Matthew James Egbert, and David Johnson Egbert (Mackenzie Chaffin) of Clarksville, Tennessee; stepchildren, Jason (Tiffany) Kalin and Whitney (Steven Ehrreich) Kalin; companion, Jan Shafer; brothers, Louard Edward (Gail) Egbert, Jr. of Littleton, Colorado and Johnson Blythe Egbert (Barbara Wentz)  of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; grandsons, Hayden Hester, Ethan Hester, Caleb Brinkley; granddaughter, Vera Brinkley.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 6:00 PM at First Christian Church, 510 Hopkinsville St., Princeton, Kentucky with dinner to follow.  All are welcome.
Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Lourdes Hospice Foundation, 225 Medical Center Drive, Suite 2203, Paducah, Kentucky  42003 or to the First Christian Church of Princeton.
