Douglas Macarthur Cansler, age 72, of Dawson Springs, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at Heartford House in Owensboro.
Douglas was born on April 15, 1951, to the late Charles and Millidene Cansler. He was a member of Beulah Hill Baptist Church in Caldwell County and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by three sisters, Vicky Newberry of Dawson Springs, Charlene Pendley of Jacksonville, FL, and Loretta Morris of Princeton; one brother, Benny Pinnegar of Eddyville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Nell Allsbrooks, Patricia Lamson, and Jean Haberlock; two brothers, Clyde Cansler and Randall Cansler.
A memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
