The Caldwell County Fiscal Court has taken steps to switch telephone carriers for the courthouse and jail, and received an update from the animal shelter on extended public hours.
At Tuesday’s meeting, Judge-Executive Kota Young noted that District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms and Administrative Assistant Lori Dunning have put in a lot of time to address some “shortcomings” with the current phone system. Simms described the new Dialog carrier as a “stopgap measure.”
